The boys nightly bedtime ritual, story time, prayer time and then half an hour to read, write or draw.
Tonight we had Troy's bday cake - cheesecake (Troys favourite) from his boys. It's a busy day day for Troy tomorrow, and Josiah has a parents orientation in the afternoon/evening and then we'll go out for dinner!
We've taken up squash again! It's heaps of fun. I am sore, haven't done physical sports in awhile. Today, Troy and Josiah had a hit after school. It's our weekly exercise! I started yesterday. Troy and Josiah will be going every Monday. We started eating properly last Monday (not cutting out the bad food altogether but eating it in moderation - ate too much and all the wrong foods) and are on Usana supplements - antioxidants and minerals (boys are on usanimals). Nathaniel is just over 13 weeks old - he's been a bit grizzly lately, is dribbling heaps, he's throwing his hands in his mouth all the time...maybe he's teething! And he's still not liking his farex. He loves to sit upright, so I have him in a washing basket or in his high chair so I can get stuff done around the house.
Both boys Josiah & Jordan enjoyed their first week of school.
Troy is still juggling both high schools at the moment until they find a replacement for Marsden. At the moment he's busy preparing for Easter Camp coming up in March but this week his focus will probably be on his sermon. We have an awesome speaker lined up from the UK...very in tune with reality and the issues youth face!
I'm enjoying watching Nathaniel grow...still getting a few sleepless nights here and there. He is sleeping alot better these days.
We finally booked our flights to Samoa in May/June to go with all my family (Inivale's 41 of us in total - Dad/Mum and 7 kids with all our families)...really looking forward to finding our roots, taking the boys on a journey (and hopefully they'll appreciate the life they have now) and seeing where Mum and dad grew up and hanging out with the family...the last time we did that was at Uga (youngest bro) and Jess's wedding in Sydney Sept 2002. We'll be staying in Auckland for 3 days on the way back. We are yet to book our tickets to South Island where Troy's family live for his mum's 60th over Christmas. Another trip to look forward to!
As well as Troy's birthday tomorrow - it was Tala's birthday last Wed 30th (bro-in-law). Happy birthday bro! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our nephews and neices - Josh turned 19 Sat 2nd, Alyssa turned 14 yesterday. Nathan turns 14 (Waitangi Day) 6th and Ashlee turns 13 on Sun 10th!!!
