10mths 3days old...

TROY-a new thing we've come away with since Pastors retreat (July) is to set aside time to have dates with each other and with the kids especially because Troy is so busy with Pastoral ministry and chaplaincy. Josiah and Jordan get to go with Troy once a month (Josiah 1st week of the mth & Jordan 2nd wk of the mth) for a couple of hours after school on a Monday to do something they want to do, then they grab dinner before they come home. Aug they went to the arcade (games) and this month they played tennis. The boys are loving having 1 on 1 with their dad.

NATHANIEL - (10mths last week) stood for a few seconds today...moves like a head banger to music and uses his foot to kick anything in reach! Is trying to climb everything. His 8th tooth has just come through.

JORDAN - came home today and said 'I need to show you something special', he can finally tie his shoelaces...he has been trying for a few weeks now and hasn't mastered it. He was practicing at school during quiet time and said he was really excited that he finally did it!

JOSIAH -is swimming at the moment for school...he has mastered backstroke now!

FAMILY - we joined a tennis club about 3 wks ago and have gone at least once a week...nice and cheap to hire the court $5.50 for an hour, it's been great and the boys have their own racquets. Josiah is hitting well and Jordan is still learning.
