UPDATE BOYS....the last 2 and a 1/2 weeks

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS JUN/JUL - School holidays have come and gone and I really enjoyed spending time with my boys...they are growing up sooo fast!!! We went with some of their cousins to watch 'Kung Fu Panda' @ the drive in. Other than that, they have had alot of cousins/friends stay over and a few day visitors and we've kept them busy outdoors and indoors. Monday gone (pupil free day) we decided to have a family day with no cousins or friends in tow so we took the boys to watch 'Speed Racer' @ the movies (they've been wanting to watch it).

JOSIAH - Fell out of the tree in the backyard today after school and gave me a fright (1st fall ever). Jordan yelled out that he injured himself (he looked upset and sat on the stairs) and all I heard was groaning. My first reaction is me telling him off for climbing the tree and then it switched to concern that he had injured himself (I have to remind myself that he is a boy and that is what they do)! He fell on his stomach so I'm sure the bruises will show up over the next few days. Troy was as calm as anything and just said that if it's raining don't climb and then went down memory lane on all the trees he fell off and laughing about it at the same time!!! (Much to my disgust...ok...I'll get over it....this is the beginning of many falls!) I'm thankful that it was nothing serious! We received Josiah's report over the school holidays. Very similar to the first semester academic wise-average, loves sport and is a caring kid who makes friends very easily. The teacher commented on how evident his love for the Lord is and he shows it so we were pleased about that.

JORDAN - Also received his school report over the holidays and he's improved in a few areas which is great to see. He's good at Maths, Sports and listening and taking instruction. Very quiet (hmm...that doesn't sound like him), makes friends easily and shows concern when they are upset/hurt. Both boys are at the stage where they are either fighting/arguing and annoying each other or they get on like a house on fire. (Troy said he went through that with his brother Riki).

NATHANIEL - Always smiling @ someone or something, loves to chat and make noises and chuckles at his brothers, waves and claps alot, likes to stand up by pulling himself up and has had a few knocks from falling, he's even gone as far as letting go (thinking he can stand) but is now alot more wise in letting go and making sure his hand is there to catch his fall. Gets bored very easily and loves to be on the ground so he can crawl around and touch everything.
